This year, the windy city’s Halloween soirees promise to bring creative costumes, several tricks and treats, and of course, plenty of wild and memorable parties to help kick off Fall with a bang.

Hilton Chicago

The Chicago Scene staff is coming together to show their readers how to celebrate Halloween the right way—with their 4th annual Haunted Hotel Ball. The ball will take place at the historic Hilton Chicago on Saturday, October 29. Pop singer, Kat Deluna will take the stage in front of a room full of costumed partygoers that are ready to hit the dance floor. Malibu Black and Coors Light will be serving up drinks from 8 pm to 2 am.  After Kat Deluna’s performance, the dance floor will stay moving for the dark and dirty DJ sets from Starkillers and Chicago’s own Mixin Marc and Ron Carroll. The evening has plenty of spectacles planned for the night that you don’t want to miss, including some of the sexiest costumes in town.

Looking to add a little spice to your Halloween? Then make sure to visit Sound Bar on Friday, October 28 for their 4th annual “Naked” Leather and Lace Halloween party! The high-energy club will feature sexy hosts that will put on a show with chains, tubs, leather and lace. The hottest DJs in Chicago will keep sexy guests sweating all night long with the hottest club hits. Enclave will be showing off its wicked side on Saturday, October 29 with their 7th annual House of Horrors Halloween party, which annually proves to be one of Chicago’s sexiest parties of the year. The club will make a transformation toward the dark side with its horrific décor and frightening special effects to go along with the bumping beats from premiere DJs. Guest will be sure to quench their thirst from 9 pm until midnight with a premium open bar that will be serving up spine chilling drinks. This Halloween, Rockit Bar & Grill is going country with their Dukes of Hubbard Halloween themed party. Put on your overalls and flannel and come celebrate with special host, DJ iRock, as he pumps out all the best rock and country music. Special hillbilly décor will feature barrels of hay and a digital photo booth where partygoers can take photos in traditional hillbilly getup. The Chicago Sport and Social Club will host its 9th Annual Halloween Bash at John Barleycorn in Wrigleyville. On Friday, October 28 nearly 800 guests will party in their spookiest getups for a night of cocktails and costumes as CSSC celebrates Halloween with one of the largest costume parties in the city. This Halloween Sunda will be hosting their third annual Dim Sum in the Dark on Saturday, October 29. A special $8.88 Dim Sum menu will be showcased at the Asian eatery and, like past years, the room will be decorated in a sensual and mysterious setting to set the mood for Halloween. Entrées that guests will feast their eyes on include chicken and meatball stix served with sweet soy and hot mustard, red dragon made up of shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, avocado, spicy mayo, unagi sauce and crunch flakes, and vegetable pot stickers with Chinese chives and ginger vinaigrette. For those looking to try something different this Halloween, and to get away from the club masses, Lottie’s Pub is hosting a Haunted House Bus trip to Screams in the Park in Rosemont on Thursday, October 27 at 7 pm. The $40 per person package includes one hour of all you can drink domestic drafts from 7 pm until 8 pm. The cost per person also includes transportation to Screams in the Park on a coach bus, haunted house admission and road pops to and from.
