If you are looking for the action of Las Vegas, great weather, young people hotels of all types and only 3 hours south of Chicago then Cancun could be the place for you. College Spring Break runs from the beginning of March till the end of April and every night is out of control. All the big clubs bring in world famous DJ's including the likes of Paul Van Dyk the night I stopped by Dady O's.

The beaches are all pure white sand and the water is great for swimming, snorkeling or diving. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Cancun one of the older hotels but still very nice with a great pool and beach. If youčre looking to be close to the nightclubs then you can stumble home from all of them, they are about 2 blocks away. If you are looking for a great hotel a little further from the Downtown Hotel/Bar & restaurant area then Head North to the Ritz Carlton or new Hilton both are incredible 5 Star hotels on the ocean with golf clubs near by.
