The Chicago Scene Boat Party is the most talked about event of the summer. Each year over 500 boats tied up equating to over 5,000 people at the event. The event is free, open to the public and all of the boats are privately owned by some of Chicago’s most prominent and successful professionals. As you will see in the following photos it is a sight to behold – beautiful people and equally beautiful boats.
The Chicago Scene Boat Party has been featured in; the New York Times, Chicago Magazine’s 2006 Annual “Best of Chicago” list, a cover story in Motor Boating Magazine, the Chicago Sun-Times “A Floating Mardi Gras” and featured on the radio broadcasts of Johnny B and Susanna Homan radio Shows. As such, we expect the 2011 party to even further exceed our record attendance.
