Brunch
644 N. Orleans, 312.265.1411
Brunch is the best of both worlds: breakfast and lunch, business and leisure. That is why the new River North neighborhood eatery is a destination for both pastries with Grandma and spreadsheets with co-workers. Appealing to the 9-5ers, the restaurant offers a shoe shine booth, a private conference room, a newsstand, and a coffee-to-go express station. The warm atmosphere of the 130-person dining room, sophisticatedly decorated with pieces by a local artist, makes dinners with a bit more time want to take off their coats and stay awhile.
But what about the food? Courtesy of Executive Chef Joseph Pierro, the Brunch menu features a classic mix of omelets and pancakes as well as new creations including a tea-braised chicken and egg sandwich, breakfast sliders, and the Chi-Town skillet. The dining room spotlights a cook-to-order bar where patrons can get their waffles cooked to the perfect level of crispiness and their smoothies without the fruits they only pretend to like.
Brunch shows love for the environment by buying local and initiating a reusable coffee mug program which gives customers the opportunity to get their joe in a mug from home.
