Chicago is about to get a whole lot cheesier, but not from bad pickup lines or screen-printed shirts.  This level of cheesiness can only be reached at Cheesies Pub and Grub, the city’s first Grilled Cheese restaurant.  With at least seven menu Grilled Cheese sandwiches, and a featured sandwich of the month, Cheesies is changing the face of this classic American favorite.  Starters such as the Fried Pickles or the Homemade 5-Cheese Mac and Cheese transport guests back to childhood days full of the comfort of mom’s cooking.  The Grilled Cheese sandwiches aren’t just cheese and bread, though.  Cheesies serves up gourmet sandwiches, such as the Caprese, with mozzarella, tomato, extra virgin olive oil, cracked black pepper and fresh basil on garlic sourdough bread and creamy pesto mayo for dipping.  Also sure to be a hit is the Frenchie, American Cheese, mozzarella, classic thick-cut French fries, bacon and chives. With choices like these, a homemade grilled cheese sandwich will never be the same.
