Michael Jordan's Steakhouse

505 N. Michigan - 312.321.8823

Michael Jordan has taken his talents from the basketball court to the kitchen with the opening of his steakhouse, which has found its home in the heart of the Windy City. The steakhouse doesn’t only specialize in steaks, but it also highlights crab cakes, roasted salmon and several items that specifically incorporate Jordan’s famous number 23.

Chef James O’Donnell is serving up dinner and lunch menus that are sure to have guest’s taste buds watering. For lunch guests can enjoy a variety of entrées that have something for everyone to enjoy. Some of the lunch dishes include the shrimp garbage salad with 23 different ingredients, crispy chicken and waffles with bourbon-pecan butter and maple-black pepper syrup, the steak house cheeseburger with a blend of chuck, brisket, and short-rib on a toasted bun, and of course, a selection of steaks such as MJ’s Prime Delmonico which is dry-aged 45 days with balsamic vinegar-ginger jus.

The dinner menu takes a more sophisticated approach and offers a wider variety of steaks along with several different seafood items. The menu features a shellfish platter that includes shrimp, crab, oysters and lobster, seared rare tuna with three tapenades, wilted spinach and lemon vinaigrette, a 12 oz. center cut filet mignon and a 14oz. dry-aged 28 days prime New York strip. The dinner menu also provides a stocked selection of side dishes to accompany the steaks, which includes macaroni and cheese, creamed spinach, shrimp and grits, and a mashed potato trio with lobster, roasted garlic and white truffle.

Guests can’t leave Michael Jordan’s Steakhouse without topping off their meal with dessert. The sinful menu showcases a 23 layer chocolate cake, a key lime bombe with yuzu curd, graham cake, and toasted meringue and a nectarine and blueberry crumble with brown butter streusel and honey-thyme ice cream.
