1967 N. Halsted, 312.929.3227

From the owner of Gemini Bistro, one of the Top Restaurants of the year in Chicago, comes the newest restaurant in Lincoln Park. Appropriately named "Rustic House," eatery is decorated with natural raw materials, including weathered barnyard walls, a large fireplace and farm-themed artwork by local artists. An imported Rotisol French Rotisserie serving up classic American dishes make this place a unique creation of Chef Jason Paskewitz and Ryan ODonnell. Guests can sample from more than 60 selections of wine including 30 wines by the glass and several signature cocktails while snacking on Duck Fat Marcona Almonds, Honey-Peppered Bacon and Chicken Liver Mousse. Main dishes will include Pancetta Wrapped Monkfish ($24), Chicken Pot Pie ($18), Duck Confit Ravioli ($20), Braised Lamb Shoulder ($25) and Baked Vegetable Mousakka ($17). With seating for 50 in the welcoming front room and 28 in the bright back dining room, guests can revel in the ambiance of the Midwestern- style eatery. For those seeking a more private experience, Rustic also has a private dining space for 24 in their custom wine cellar. For more information, visit Rustichousechicago.com.
