Starfruit Café offers frozen treats that are fueled by Lifeway, Kefir. The Chicago-based frozen yogurt shop has four freestanding locations, plus new concession areas at Wrigley and Ravinia. To help Starfruit Café grow even more, the shop is introducing a mobile food truck specially designed to deliver Chicagoans a delicious frozen treat, including their latest new mango flavor.

The traveling treats are packed with probiotic kefir (a“flat belly power food”) and contain 22 calories and zero grams of fat per ounce. Following the food truck trend, the locations will be announced daily via Facebook and Twitter .

After a cold winter in the windy city, Starfruit Café added a fresh new mango flavor on July 1st to kick off the summer on the right foot and to help add to the list of creamy favorites like pomegranate, peach, cherry, chocolate truffle and birthday cake. Not only does Starfruit Café scoop up delicious frozen kefir flavors, but they also serve up their list of frozen favorites with a variety of fruit and toppings. The shop offers a wide selection of assorted fruits and toppings to help spice up customer’s favorite frozen treats. These toppings include mango, coconut, pineapple, strawberries, gummy bears, chocolate chips, cocoa pebbles and crushed Reese’s.

Signature smoothies also add to the menu for customer’s who want to try a filling fruitful drink. Some popular smoothies that grace the menu include the breakfast blast with almonds, granola, banana, whey protein and vanilla kefir; the energizer with pineapple, mango, coconut, energy boost and vanilla kefir; and the diva with blueberry, mango, banana, multi-vitamin, peach kefir and vanilla kefir.

Starfruit Café’s doesn’t only serve up treats that taste delicious, but their treats also are healthy and good for you. The treats are made with probiotic-filled Lifeway Kefir, which help aid digestion, support immunity, promote weight loss and help fight lactose intolerance.
