The Dead Man's Ball sells out in advance every year! Features three floors of frightful fun this year at River North's hottest rock bar, Lasalle Power Co. Entertainment includes two bands (and The Seth Bradley Personnel and the Lasalle Power Co.'s house band ) DJs spin Top 40, Hip Hop and classic rock from the '80s and '90s on two floors.

Dress as your favorite "in the news" tabloid celebrity and you might win the costume contest --the winner scores two tickets to Chicago Scene's New Year's Eve Party at The Drake Hotel ( Chicago Scene New Years Eve Party). Judges will pass out Mardi Gras-style beads to the best-dressed celebrities during the ball; the celebrity with the most beads at 1 a.m. will win the tickets. Tip: the more controversial and outrageous the costume, the better! Dead Man's Ball details:
